Are you the Hero or the Victim?

I watched a great video the other day from Donald Miller at Storybrand.

I think we all know that you need to take responsibility for your own actions and not blame others but sometimes it is easier said than done!

I found myself moaning the other day to two business partners I have on a property deal. The deal has gone a bit sour and I was there blaming them. Of course it feels good at the time to do this but it gets you nowhere in the long run. Even if you are right and they are wrong it doesn’t get you out of the hole.

So the next time you are working towards your health and weight loss goals and you hit a bump in the road – take a step back and catch yourself before you start whinging. Like all things in life the path to your goals is very rarely a straight trajectory. It’s how you deal with the bumps along the way that defines your overall success.
