Stand Up for Health & Weight Loss Jamie

I recently bought one of those stand up desks. It’s the kind where you can have it in seated or stand up position. It broke the other day in stand up position which has turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

The first week that I stood up all day I nearly died! But after that first week I now feel more energised and fitter.

I read somewhere that you run the equivalent of 2-3 marathons over a year just by switching to a standing position during your work day. It’s particularly good when you are in a fasted / keto state as you burn fat. I also feel more focussed while I’m working.

Try it out and let me know how you get on. It’s a great cheat for getting fit and burning fat that can slot nicely into your life and (apart from the first week) it’s a breeze.
